Open Doodle in the browser

Doodle is an application for finding appointments - with this you can find out the date on which most participants have time. Click on the plus sign in the upper right corner to create your first Doodle survey.

Create group survey

Enter your name, email address, the title of the survey. In addition, you can add an optional description. Important: Your name is public or visible for the participants.

Create appointments

Click on the weekly calendar to create appointments. Further up you can set the duration of each created appointment. To remove an appointment, first select it and then click the close icon. The Create invitation and continue button creates the survey and takes you to the next step.

Invite survey participants

The Button Share invite gives you the possibility to copy the participation link. You can send the copied link via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Signal, Email, etc. to your respondents. send it to your respondents.

Evaluate survey results

The appointment with the most votes is marked in the statistics with a yellow filled star. Via the button Book this appointment will be sent to all participants via e-mail as a booked appointment. If you prefer an appointment with fewer votes, you can select it in advance - so that the yellow filled star is moved accordingly. Once an appointment is booked, no further participations are possible.

Appointment was booked

The survey is now closed and we have a final date. Each participant was sent this date by e-mail. If we want to open the survey for further participation, we can click the Reopen invitation button. All existing respondents will be informed that the survey is open again and can change their participation data.

Disadvantages

  • There are no other question items besides the appointment calendar.
  • The survey is never anonymous - names of participants are visible to everyone. We recommend abbreviating the last name or entering only the first name.
  • The time zone cannot be changed to your local time from the participant's point of view, which is especially important for online meetings.
  • Only one calendar can be added to the form.
  • Weekly calendar occasionally does not react to the selection of appointments or appointments cannot be deleted.
  • Free version is overloaded with ads.
  • No real-time statistics. The page must be updated manually.

Create instant survey

Conduct an instant survey - without login or sign up. Alternatively, you can sign up HERE to log in with your email address & password. You can then create your first survey.

Create new survey

Click on the New survey button to create your first survey. In the next step you can assign a unique name to the survey.

Add event poll

Add an event poll to the survey form - click on the weekly calendar to create events. After that you can give the event a name as well as description, edit the event times or remove the event.

Start & publish survey

After the survey has been started, you can choose among different ways of publishing it. Click on the Share participation link button. The menu allows you to share the participation link via various apps or copy it to your clipboard.

Wait for survey participation

If a participant visits the participation link, he or she can click on available dates in the calendar and answer each one with I have time, I have time if necessary, I have no time. Before that, the calendar can also be adjusted to the local time zone of the participant.

Evaluate survey results

Sent data can be accessed by the survey author via the Statistics tab. All data is updated in real time. The survey author can set during the survey publication that survey participants can also view the survey statistics.

Disadvantages

  • No automatic sending of e-mails after booking an appointment, because e-mail addresses of the participants do not have to be entered.
